At Schelstraete Equine Law, professional development and specialist knowledge are integral to our work in equine law, commercial litigation, and sports law. We are therefore pleased to celebrate the recent academic achievements of two members of our team: Femke Laan and Lara Schönherr.
Lara has obtained her second master’s degree, this time in Law and Technology from Tilburg University. Femke, our in-house veterinarian, has successfully completed her Pre-Master’s in Health Law at Erasmus University Rotterdam.
Lara Schönherr: Combining Sports Law with Technology
As a sports lawyer at Schelstraete Equine Law, Lara Schönherr works within a field where legal frameworks, technological developments and the regulation of sport increasingly intersect. Her master’s degree in Law and Technology from Tilburg University adds to her academic background and reflects her continued commitment to developing her legal expertise.
Femke Laan: Bridging Veterinary Expertise and Health Law
Femke Laan combines her role as in-house veterinarian at Schelstraete Equine Law with her legal work. Having successfully completed her Pre-Master’s in Health Law at Erasmus University Rotterdam, she continues to develop her knowledge at the intersection of veterinary science and law.
We celebrated both achievements together at our office and would like to congratulate Lara and Femke on reaching these important milestones. We are proud of their continued development and look forward to seeing how they build on their achievements in the years ahead.
