Junior Dressage Championships moved to Oliva

The European championships for young dressage riders were assigned to the CES Valencia Tour in November last year, where the EHV-1 virus broke out earlier this year. After the EHV-1 outbreak, the show organisers lost two CDI’s and it was unclear whether Valencia could still host the European Championships for Children, Juniors and Young Riders. At the beginning of April it became clear that the FEI was looking for an alternative location. The new location for the European championships is the Spanish town of Oliva. The date for the European championships will not change, the European championships remain on the agenda from 5 to 11 July. It is not the first time that Oliva will host an EC, in 2016 the venue was also awarded an EC for the dressage youth.
