In view of the infectious viral outbreak detected in some of the horses participating in the international jumping competition that is taking place at the facilities of the CES Valencia: all horses that have been stabled in the last ten days in the aforementioned facility must keep the proper isolation protocols and veterinary control, where appropriate, rule out any contagion. To this end, it will be necessary for their athletes and owners to contact their veterinarians as a matter of urgency.
The RFHE is making all the necessary arrangements with the Fédération Équestre Internationale (FEI) and the organisation for the immediate suspension of the competition and the control of the horses. The RFHE has been informed that the local veterinary health authorities are carrying out the corresponding analytical and control work.
Any new developments in this regard will be reported through the usual channels.
