The equine pre-purchase examination (PPE) rarely provides a simple yes-or-no answer. Veterinarians must interpret clinical findings, diagnostic imaging, and increasingly objective gait data, while communicating their significance and potential risks to buyers and sellers. The PPE can also have legal implications for the veterinarian, making effective communication and proper documentation essential to both preventing disputes and understanding potential veterinary liability.
This joint webinar of Sleip and Schelstraete Equine Law brings together experts in equine veterinary medicine, diagnostic imaging, objective gait analysis, and equine law to explore how these different perspectives influence the veterinarian’s clinical decisions, communication, and legal responsibilities.
